W.S. Quinton & Sinopa Publishing LLC

In 1990 Sam Quinton met a young woman who captivated his attention. She also refused to date him unless he joined her D&D group!

Though the relationship with that woman ended shortly thereafter, his enjoyment of role playing games persisted and he has been a RPG enthusiast ever since. Combining his lifelong love of comic books with his passion for games, Sam founded Sinopa Publishing in 2017 to be a vehicle for releasing his own titles.

Sam blogs about his adventures (and misadventures) in game design, writing and self-publishing in hopes of sparing other from his own missteps:

Utterly lacking in talent for visual arts (the poor man can’t draw a decent stick figure), Sam enlisted the help of remarkable artists to create the original art Sinopa Publishing is known for.

Sinopa Publishing is dedicated to a set of guiding principles:

  1. Craft the best quality books you can, then learn how to do better

  2. Value the audience and treat them with respect

  3. Pay contributors fairly and promptly

  4. Promote creator growth within the comic and RPG communities

The heart of Sinopa Publishing is the audience reading and using the books we produce. Within the imagination of our readers ideas take shape, stories unfold and the hours spent crafting our books find purpose.

Welcome to our audience. Adventure awaits!

Alexia Veldhuisen

Hailing from the city of Amsterdam, Alexia has always dreamed of being a comic book artist. Working at the Gojoker, the best comic shop in town, she learned about the famous comic book program in Dover New Jersey, The Kubert School. She soon moved to the U.S. to attend the school where she not only earned her diploma in Cartoon Graphics©  but the Dave Simons Memorial scholarship for her achievements in inking as well.

She now works as a professional freelance artist, having previously worked on the Tarot Adventures Book Two: Comet over Echo Rock for Sinopa Publishing as well as various indie comic book projects. Additionally, she has been overseeing the art editing of one of Sinopa's upcoming comic book anthology titles.

Alexia likes comics, games, coffee, movies and of course… all things samurai. She lives in New Jersey with her calico- cat- on- fire Katniss and still secretly dreams of one day becoming a master samurai swordsmen.
